Class: Surface Design on Clay - After Bisque

  • Art Association 240 S Glenwood Jackson, WY, 83001 USA (map)

Bring your bisque fired pottery and experiment with the surface design techniques that happen before glaze is applied. We will use stain, liquid underglaze and underglaze pencils to add depth and personalization to your pottery. Stencils, transfer, brushing, and drawing will be our main techniques. We will work on ware that is meant for Cone 6 Oxidation, as well as Cone 10 Reduction. If you do not have bisque ware to experiment on, tiles or orphan pots will be provided.

This class will meet in the Multi-Purpose Studio above the Ceramics Studio, masks are required
